SMS Terms of Service

Last updated: September 15, 2026

These terms govern the TrueCare™ Partners text-message (SMS) program. By opting in to text alerts you agree to them. Signing up is optional — you can use TrueCare without it.

1. The program

The TrueCare™ text-message program (the "SMS program") is operated by TrueCare Partners Inc., an Ontario care-staffing marketplace. TrueCare Partners Inc. is the business responsible for these messages and for managing your SMS consent. Messages are sent only to registered TrueCare users who have opted in.

2. Messages you will receive

The SMS program sends transactional messages only — related to your TrueCare account and activity:

  • Care professionals: shift offers, shift reminders, and schedule or assignment changes
  • Homecare clients: booking status updates and payment alerts

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we never share or sell your mobile number to third parties.

3. Opting in is optional

Signing up for text messages is entirely optional and separate from the rest of the service — you can create and use your TrueCare account fully without opting in to SMS. Text alerts are OFF by default. You opt in from your authenticated account by turning on text alerts, and then confirm by replying YES from your mobile phone (double opt-in). We record the date, the requesting IP, and the consent wording you agreed to.

4. Message frequency

Message frequency varies (messages are sent based on your account activity).

5. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. TrueCare does not charge for the messages themselves; any charges come from your wireless carrier under your mobile plan.

6. Opting out

You can cancel the SMS program at any time. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or turn off text alerts in your TrueCare account. After you send STOP we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending SMS. To resubscribe, reply START or turn text alerts back on in your account.

7. Help

For help with the SMS program, reply HELP to any message, or contact us using the details below.

8. Carrier disclaimer

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of text messages is subject to your carrier’s network and coverage, and TrueCare cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered.
